As the lead product designer for Yoti's latest and highest-grossing product—the Age Verification Service (AVS)—I implemented several design optimisations, including:
Alongside my team delivery, I provided design support for new clients integrating with AVS, collaborating with notable companies such as Sony PlayStation, OnlyFans, Pornhub, and British American Tobacco.
I completed the design for the minimum viable product of a new content moderation tool, which is one of seven products in Yoti's portfolio.
User testing analytics indicated promising signs of success for the product, and existing AVS clients expressed strong support for the designs.
I led the design of a proof of concept for in-store age verification at British American Tobacco (BAT) vape stores. This was launched successfully at the Vuse store in Westfield Shopping Centre, London.
This success paved the way for a global rollout in BAT stores and helped us acquire a new client, Altria Group, which implemented the solution in their Juul stores.
In my role on the 'Offers' product team, I focused on optimising the marketplace, ClearScore's primary source of income. My key projects included:
To expand my skill set, I took the opportunity to join the 'Engage' team to enhance the app and boost user engagement. My projects in this team included:
My primary responsibility was designing the user interface for proof-of-concept apps, which demonstrated the true value of Jigsaw’s core back-end technology.
These applications ranged from purchasing and managing insurance to obtaining retail offers. This work was showcased in live demonstrations for high-profile clients such as Aviva and the property management startup Savvy.
This position significantly improved my UI and prototyping skills. And working alongside an experienced product designer further enhanced my product design abilities.
